Custom lamp from a Steve Chase design house, made by Richard Lindley, circa 1980. A large whitewashed Philippine rattan basket with handle is mounted on 2" thick Lucite base with a 3" long Lucite stem. Original wiring is in good, working condition. Adjustable height double cluster set up with pull chains and shade leveler takes two 75 watt bulbs. Inline on-off switch. Dimensions are 23" diameter x 29" high. Diameter of basket is 16". Original string shade is included.

Richard Lindley made custom lighting for all the top decorators in Los Angeles and Palm Springs in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Last photo shows a similar lamp in a 1978 Steve Chase project.
