A rare studio ceramic planter/cache pot on separate base by Roy Hamilton specially designed for Steve Chase in the 1980s. The unusual black glazed ceramic has five silver and gold ceramic knots above a chevron pattern in silver and gold. Planter is signed under glaze "Roy Hamilton especially for Steve Chase Associates" and retains the original Steve Chase price tag from the 1980's. The base is signed "Roy Hamilton".
